When I initially removed the lid on this gel, I was disappointed. It looked just like the slime my daughter loves to make for her "science projects". It simply just didn't have the bling factor I was expecting. So it sat in my drawer for a few weeks. Well, I just got it out and gave it a try last night and was very happy with the results. I was expecting to need to get my black microfine glitter out and either mix it in or sprinkle it on top of the wet product after smearing it over a stencil but nope! It sparkles. It doesn't have the same level of sparkle as the iridescent. However, I wasn't expecting it to sparkle like that because none of my black glitter does. That being said, it sparkles the most of all. It definitely can go on opaque but can also have a smeared sand look that I sometimes prefer, depending on the desired design. It does not dry overly fast and is easy to clean with water; very easy to work with. It left a bit of a gritty feel to my stencil but whatever. Love it!
