Shipping and Returns

Ellen Hutson, LLC ships every business day to ensure rapid delivery to you. Orders placed Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will ship Monday or the next business day whenever possible. In the event of high business volume, Ellen Hutson, LLC may take up to 7 business days to complete and ship your order. If it will take us longer than 7 business days to ship your order we will notify you of the delay. We cannot be responsible for delayed shipping through the carrier.

Ellen Hutson LLC uses USPS to ship all parcels worldwide and is not responsible for any parcels that are lost or damaged once the parcel has left our warehouse. Ellen Hutson, LLC ships all orders using delivery confirmation and is not responsible for any parcels that are missing that show delivery has occurred, with the exception of International Orders. PLEASE NOTE that no tracking is provided for orders shipped outside the U.S., so customer assumes all risk of delivery once package has left our warehouse. Please be certain that orders are shipped to a secure location where they will not be lost or stolen. Please watch your tracking confirmation and contact your local carrier for missing packages immediately upon stated delivery. 

Ellen Hutson, LLC cannot be held responsible for incorrect addresses used when placing your order. Our system automatically sends to the address which is confirmed during checkout. We are happy to reship the order if the order is returned to us --- additional shipping charges that are required as a result of an incorrect address will be billed as a separate transaction.

If United States International Priority Mail is not an available shipping option, then Ellen Hutson, LLC cannot ship to your country. Please email with any questions or for additional details.


Our office/warehouse is located at 1145 12th Avenue NW, Suite C5, Issaquah, WA 98027 in the Cascade Business Park. If you are in the area and would like to pick up your order at our warehouse we would welcome you between the hours of 9:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. We look forward to meeting each and everyone of you who can stop by to pick up your order!


Please note First Class Shipping for light-weight products totaling less than 13 oz. (including packaging) is an option during checkout ($4.00). These orders will be shipped in a padded envelope and are subject to damage during shipment. By selecting this option you accept responsibility for this risk. Please be aware that tracking is not always available and shipping times can vary greatly.

Shipping cost within the United States, including APO/FPO, is calculated based on the total merchandise cost before coupon codes are applied.

To ensure efficient delivery, it is our policy to ship via Priority Mail through the United States Postal Service with delivery confirmation. In special circumstances where noted, when weight and size of product require special box sizes, orders may be sent UPS Ground.

Canadian shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the merchandise - simply add items to your cart and select estimate shipping & tax to determine what the shipping cost will be. All Canadian orders are now provided tracking information. The first tracking number you receive will be a UPS tracking number. As soon as your parcel clears Canadian Customs you will then be provided a Canada Post tracking number to determine where your order is in the shipping process.


International shipping costs are calculated based on the total merchandise cost before coupon codes are applied.


Due to the changes in VAT collection we are currently unable to ship to the UK and EU. As a small business it has been difficult to work through the necessary documentation. We are working on it and will update this note when we have the ability to collect and distribute the VAT to these two regions. Thank you for your patience!

Due to COVID International Mail Service is experiencing suspensions and disruptions. Please check on this USPS Website Link before placing an International order.

International First Class Mail Only - the United States Postal Service does not ship to all countries.

  • merchandise total over $200 ($50)

NOTE:  International packages over four pounds may require additional shipping fees. These fees will be requested prior to your order being shipped.  Please keep this in mind when ordering Essentials by Ellen Storage Envelopes, Essentials by Ellen Magnetic Die Storage, reams, paper and oversized items.

All international orders are shipped USPS (United States Postal Service ) First Class. All international orders over four pounds are required to ship Priority International Service and may require additional shipping fees.  If you want to receive any packages via Priority International Service, you must contact us and pay additional rates, if applicable.

Please Note: Due to Copic policies, Copic Markers may only be shipped within the United States and Canada, excluding the island of Oahu. Special shipping requests may incur additional shipping charges.

Shipments outside the USA may be subject to import charges and taxes. These charges will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Please note, we will not falsify customs forms by marking your shipment as "Gift" or altering the value of items. In addition to being illegal, these actions are likely to delay your package's arrival as accurate values are assessed by customs officials.

When an order ships we do our best to advise you via email that your package has shipped. We take extra care to package each order appropriately. All orders are well packed and ship with a packing slip. Our shipping fees include our packaging fees, which includes, but is not limited to, packaging materials such as bubble wrap, packing paper, and single or double ply boxes. If your product arrives damaged by the carrier, please inform the carrier of damage at the time of delivery.


Ellen Hutson, LLC wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We are happy to accept returns and exchanges of unused/unopened or defective merchandise, except those items purchased in the CLEARANCE section. All sales on CLEARANCE items are final and these items cannot be returned or exchanged. Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. If, after initial inspection, any product is damaged or defective in any way, you may return it in unused condition, in original packaging within 7 days for exchange or full credit.

All shipping charges for returns shall be the responsibility of the buyer, except in cases of defective or incorrect merchandise. Refunds for returned items are issued within 7 business days of our receipt of the returned product.
